TPAS (Traffic Proximity Alerting System) is inexpensive, but provides lots of returns of relatively low value in high traffic environments.
TCAD (Traffic Collision Alert Display??) (see http://www.avweb.com/news/reviews/182532-1.html) provides more information, but very expensive - $5000 - $15000. Unaware of any installations in gliders.
